I was absolutely picturing Keira as I wrote my book Dauntless. I have several pictures of her on my pinterest board http://www.pinterest.com/dinasleiman/dauntless/ :)Dina Sleimanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05214446103057806111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2374698605171910389.post-57325445081212176082014-08-18T13:21:07.929-04:002014-08-18T13:21:07.929-04:00I'm taking it as a given, judging from some of...I'm taking it as a given, judging from some of the photos posted on your other blog I think, that you have seen 'Princess of Thieves'. Kiera Knightley is quite little too I believe, or was then as she was about 15 when she was in that movie.
Believe it or not, I actually kind of liked it in some way, yes it was corny, predictable and quite far-fetched in places- like riding from London to Nottingham in a few hours, a distance of around 250 miles.
But Robin Hood and the leading characters were played by a Brits, which counts for something.....at least for me, and it was not antagonistic to Christianity, like a lot of other modern movies. I felt it cast the clerical characters in quite a positive light actually. English Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17806974885775295349noreply@blogger.com
